This Privacy Policy explains how Hamel Building Technologies (“HBT,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit our website, contact us, apply to become an authorized dealer, or use the dealer portal and store (together, the “Site”). It does not cover building data processed by installed Aero products or the AeroConnect remote-access service, which are governed by the agreements for those products and services.

Payment information
Membership fees and orders are paid through Stripe, our payment processor. You enter card or bank details directly with Stripe, which handles them under its own privacy policy. HBT does not receive or store full card numbers. Stripe sends us limited information, such as a customer reference, payment status, amounts, and the billing and shipping details needed to fulfill an order.
Information collected automatically
Our servers and hosting provider automatically record technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of each request. We also record the IP address used to submit a form or dealer application, and the IP address and browser used for each portal session. We use this information to operate and secure the Site and to prevent spam and abuse.
Information from others
We may also receive information from authorized dealers (for example, when a dealer refers a project to us), from references and public sources we check when reviewing a dealer application, and from Stripe.
Cookies
We use only cookies that are essential for the Site to work. When you sign in to the dealer portal, a session cookie keeps you signed in and helps protect your account; it expires when you sign out or after a limited period. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If you block cookies, you will not be able to sign in to the portal. Stripe’s hosted checkout page may use its own cookies for security and fraud prevention.
